CHAPTER 6

THE WHOLE EQUATION

WE UPHOLD THE LAW

THE GODLY LAW-GIC OF GRACE

If there is no Righteous Law to

PRACTICE GOOD WORKS,

then there is nothing to Sin against.

If there is no Sin,

then there is no reason for Godly Grief.

If Godly Grief is not produced,

then neither is a Repentance.

If there is no Repentance,

then there is no Punishment to fear.

If there is no Punishment,

then there is no need for Grace.

If there is no need for Grace,

then there is no need for a Messiah.

— BUT THERE MOST CERTAINLY IS

A NEED FOR THE MESSIAH—

And His Grace most certainly saves us from the Punishment, which is death.

Punishment that motivates us to Repent from Sin.

Repentance that is produced by Godly Grief.

Godly Grief that keeps us from PRACTICING Sin.

Turning FROM Sin

back TO His Righteous Law of

PRACTICING GOOD WORKS.

His Grace then JUSTIFYING our

IMPERFECT PRACTICE of

His Righteous Law.

Even unto Salvation into His Kingdom

to inherit Eternal Life.

Again...

WE UPHOLD (Establish) THE LAW...

Romans 3

31 Do we then overthrow The Law by this Faith?

By no means! On the contrary,

—>WE UPHOLD THE LAW.

By WORKING GOOD...

Romans 2

6 He will restore to each one according to his WORKS:

7 indeed ETERNAL LIFE to those who

—>ENDURE GOOD [ἀγαθός] WORK,

desiring glory and honor and immortality,

8 but for those who are self-seeking and

DO NOT OBEY THE TRUTH, but

OBEY UNRIGHTEOUSNESS,

there will be wrath and fury.

9 There will be tribulation and distress

for every human being

—>WORKING EVIL,

The Jew first and also The Greek,

10 but glory and honor and peace for everyone

—>WORKING GOOD [ἀγαθός]

The Jew first and also The Greek.

11 For God shows no partiality.

12 For all who have sinned Lawlessly

will also PERISH Lawlessly,

and all who have sinned in The Law

will be judged by The Law.

13 For it is

—>NOT THE HEARERS OF THE LAW

WHO ARE RIGHTEOUS before God,

but the

—>DOERS OF THE LAW WHO WILL BE JUSTIFIED.

Matthew 5

16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your GOOD WORKS and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

To PRACTICE The Righteous Law...

1 John 3

7 Little children, let no one deceive you.

Whoever PRACTICES RIGHTEOUSNESS

is RIGHTEOUS, as He is RIGHTEOUS.

Romans 7

12 So THE LAW is HOLY, and

THE COMMANDMENT is HOLY and

RIGHTEOUS and

GOOD [ἀγαθός].

Knowing that we are not perfect...

1 John 1

8 If we say we have no sin,

we deceive ourselves,

and The Truth is not in us.

Romans 3

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Which leads us to GODLY GRIEF

and REPENTANCE from Sin...

2 Corinthians 7

10 For GODLY GRIEF produces a

—>REPENTANCE THAT LEADS TO SALVATION

without regret, whereas

WORLDLY GRIEF PRODUCES DEATH.

11 For see what earnestness this GODLY GRIEF has produced in you, but also what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what PUNISHMENT! At every point you have PROVED YOURSELVES INNOCENT in the matter.

Romans 2

4 Or do you presume on the riches of his KINDNESS

and forbearance and patience, not knowing that

—>GOD’S KINDNESS IS MEANT TO LEAD YOU TO REPENTANCE?

To escape the punishment...

Romans 6

23 For the wages of SIN IS DEATH,

but the FREE GIFT of God is

Eternal Life in

Yeshua The Messiah our Lord.

By receiving The Gift

with Faith in The Messiah...

Romans 3

24 and are JUSTIFIED BY HIS GRACE

as a GIFT,

through the redemption that is in

Yeshua The Messiah,

25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood,

TO BE RECEIVED BY FAITH.

This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had

PASSED OVER FORMER SINS.

And therefore being justified by the same Grace...

Romans 2

13 For it is

NOT THE HEARERS OF THE LAW

WHO ARE RIGHTEOUS before God,

but the

—>DOERS OF THE LAW

WHO WILL BE JUSTIFIED.

NOTE:

If we only

“Hear” His Righteous Law, without

PRACTICING it’s GOOD WORKS,

then there is no imperfect PRACTICE

for GRACE to JUSTIFY—

so we are without Grace,

and must perish as in Romans 2:12.

NOTE:

We know that His Grace JUSTIFIES us from our imperfect PRACTICE of His Law (Former Sins)— rendering us innocent through His Blood.

NOTE:

If we do not

“WORK GOOD [ἀγαθός]”

then the only other option is to

“WORK EVIL”—

which outrages

the whole purpose of GRACE,

the whole SPIRIT OF GRACE:

Hebrews 10

26 For if we go on

SINNING DELIBERATELY

after receiving the knowledge of The Truth,

—>THERE NO LONGER REMAINS A SACRIFICE FOR SINS,

27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.

28 Anyone who has set aside

The Law of Moses

dies WITHOUT MERCY

on the evidence of two or three witnesses.

29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has

—>TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT THE SON OF GOD,

and has profaned the blood of The Covenant by which he was sanctified, and has

—>OUTRAGED THE SPIRIT OF GRACE?

NOTE:

Not DOING His Law is

“trampling underfoot” The Messiah—

because His GRACEFUL SACRIFICE

was to JUSTIFY our

imperfect PRACTICE of His Law,

but if we do not PRACTICE His Law

to set in motion

His GRACE that JUSTIFIES

the PRACTICERS of the same,

then it is as if

His GRACEFUL SACRIFICE

was for nothing.

NOTE:

If we say that

The “Work” is “Finished”,

then we say there is no more Sin.

If we say that there is no Sin, then:

1 John 1

8 If we say we have no sin,

we deceive ourselves, and

The Truth is not in us.

Let us Uphold

The Perfect Law of Liberty,

which sets everything in motion, including

HIS GIFT OF GRACE

THAT JUSTIFIES OUR

IMPERFECT PRACTICE OF

THE SAME PERFECT LAW.

Q:

Which Law?

A:

The 10 Commandments,

to be Scripturally expounded upon next.

Shalom (Peace)
